Parking Garage

After the baby gym and the busy board, this build is for the toddler years: a multistorey parking garage for the steadily growing fleet of toy cars. Two raised decks sit above the ground floor with ramps connecting the levels, there is space for plenty of cars of various sizes, and low rails around the edges keep them from rolling off mid-parking.

I built it in a single weekend from leftover plywood and dowels from earlier projects: cut the decks, glue and screw the columns, add the ramps and rails, and it was ready for the morning rush hour.
